Parents

Do you ever wonder…

  • Why can’t she just read the directions the way that they are printed?
  • Why is she asking me so many questions? I can’t keep up with the information!
  • My cell phone is in pieces! Does he need to know how everything works!?
  • What an imagination, but do we have to play his game differently every time?

We have been taught that from the day our child enter our lives that we should be able to guide our child to follow the rules of the household, practice good manners, eat healthy foods, get sufficient exercise, and develop a positive sense of schooling through education. We think the way it worked for me must be the way it will work for my child. This train of thought certainly makes sense, but it’s not realistic. The struggle occurs when we recognize that our child is not our clone, in turn, making it difficult to understand why our child is not learning the way we would like to be taught. Just like adults, children have their own sense of how they take in the world around them. The Let Me Learn Process enables parents to guide their child more effectively by pinpointing how their child processes the world. Therefore, teaching your child rules, chores, independent play time, and schooling become not only more efficient, but it also gives you the much sought after gift of patience.
